Investigating/quantifying three-dimensional imaging capabilities of Pantoscanner and other competing geometries, for tomosynthesis.

Member of the science processing team for SKA SA.  Tasks includes: developing an initial simulator for determining focal plane array antenna radiation patterns, sky visibility simulation (interferometry), CGI web server scripting. Antenna layout configuration design, Imaging performance metrics, focal plane array modeling and simulation, realtime signal display interface, single dish and interferometric polarization calibration, wide field calibration, measuring and modelling full polarized beampatterns, calibration and imaging of polarized sources.


Part time work for Lodox on continuing projects: Erect Computed Tomography and Image Quality assessment software.

(I requested to move back to Cape Town and to reduce my workload in order to finish off my PhD thesis and develop software products for a startup company.)
